What do students look for in campus web jobs?

After going through a bit of a posting spree things have slowed down a bit. Now with January out of the way I plan to get on a top of a couple projects that will be posted on here of course ;) First task: hire a Co-op student for the spring term.

From the looks of things the new system they have implemented in Co-op really works for the students – getting them in jobs earlier so they can get on with their academics. I have a little problem though… most of the students I wanted to interview now have jobs! Guess they interviewed well. This leaves me in an odd situation. I don’t want those that might have applied and read this blog to take this the wrong way, but I think I need to start over again with a new job posting. This is mainly because I think the job description I wrote sucks.

If you are a student reading this blog and marginally interested in web work, let me know what you are looking for a description. I know campus web jobs can be less than glamourous but what would it take to make you interested in applying for a web position on campus?
